Christian Nuk has extensive work experience in the field of digital IC verification and design engineering. Christian currently holds the position of Principal Digital IC Verification Engineer at MaxLinear, starting in August 2020.

Prior to MaxLinear, Christian worked at Intel Corporation for five years, from April 2015 to July 2020, as a Senior Staff Design Verification Engineer. Christian then moved on to Lantiq, an Intel Company, where they served as a Staff Design Engineer from September 2010 to March 2015.

Before joining Intel, Christian held the position of Senior Design and FPGA Design Application Engineer at Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation from July 2008 to August 2010. Their role included providing design services for various areas of microelectronics and prototyping ASICs using FPGA. Christian also had ISO certification responsibilities and managed the measurement laboratory.

Christian's earlier work experience includes working at TDK-Micronas as a Senior Digital Design Engineer from January 2001 to June 2008. Christian was responsible for developing complex digital circuits for display and TV applications. Christian also worked on prototype designs using FPGAs and performed FPGA synthesis for different architectures. Additionally, they were involved in the organizational tasks related to maintaining a functional laboratory.

Prior to TDK-Micronas, Christian worked as a Digital Design and Analog Layout Engineer at Infineon Technologies from July 1999 to January 2001. Their responsibilities included developing digital circuits for image and video applications, as well as designing layout blocks for analog applications using the latest CAD tools.

Christian started their career as an Engineer for Analog Layout Design and Measurement Technology at Siemens Entwicklungszentrum für Mikroelektronik from March 1996 to July 1999. Christian was involved in creating hand-optimized layout blocks for analog applications and conducted measurements for IC verification and characterization.

Before entering the microelectronics field, Christian worked as an Elektrotechniker at VERBUND Hydro Power from June 1995 to February 1996. Their role involved planning and designing technical drawings using AutoCAD and creating documentation for the steam power plant.

Christian Nuk has a varied education history. Christian obtained their Reife- und Diplomprüfung in Elektrotechnik/Techniker from Höhere Technische Bundeslehranstalt Graz-Gösting. Christian continued their education at Technische Universität Graz, although the specific degree they pursued is unknown. Prior to these institutions, Christian Nuk completed their Matura at Stiftsgymnasium der Benediktiner in St. Paul.
