Jonathan Byars

Jonathan Byars has an extensive background in mechanical engineering, with experience working at companies such as Maybell Quantum, AMP Robotics, Matternet Inc, Freedom Innovations, Applied Technologies Associates, and Kulicke & Soffa. Jonathan has held various titles including Director of Engineering, Principal Engineer, Station Hardware Lead, and Sr. Mechanical Engineer. Their work has involved designing and implementing mechanical systems for drones, robotic ankles, hydraulic knees, production logging tools, and ceramic tooling. Byars graduated with a B.S in General Engineering, Mechatronics and a Masters in Biomedical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
