Ben Martlock

Ben Martlock has extensive experience in strategic sourcing and procurement. Ben most recently worked as the Director of Purchasing - Strategic Sourcing at MEC, where they were responsible for overseeing purchasing initiatives. Prior to that, they served as a Commodity Manager at MEC. Before joining MEC, Ben was the Procurement Manager, International Logistics at Whirlpool Corporation, where they led a global team in sourcing inbound and outbound ocean freight, customs brokerage services, and air freight and small parcel categories within North America. Ben also held various roles at Ford Motor Company, including Global Lead Buyer for Powertrain Components, Exterior Trim, and General Stampings. In these roles, they developed and executed strategic sourcing plans for a range of vehicle components. Additionally, Ben worked as an IT Buyer at both Ford Motor Company and Aerotek, where they were responsible for sourcing IT hardware, software, and telecommunications. Early in their career, they served as a Buyer at Peerless Steel Company. Ben has a wealth of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and program management across multiple industries.

Ben Martlock has a degree in accounting from Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business. Ben also holds a Masters of Business Administration from Wayne State University.
