David Alan Wilson

David Alan Wilson has a diverse range of work experience in engineering and manufacturing. David Alan started their career in 2012 as an Engineer and Apprentice Mold Maker at Miller Mold Co., where they were responsible for detail engineering, drawing, programming, and setup of components for packaging systems. From 2016 to 2018, David worked at Plastipak as an Engineering Technician and Machine Builder, where they constructed custom high-speed plastic packaging machinery and performed mechanical assembly. In 2018, they joined EMAG L.L.C. as a Manufacturing Engineer and CNC Setter, where they implemented complete process solutions for customers in the automotive and industrial power transmission industries. Their responsibilities included mechanical installation of manufacturing cells, CNC process creation and setup, and continuous improvement of processes. Currently, David is working at Mazak North America since 2019 as an Application Engineer. David Alan is responsible for the development of Mazak's Hot Wire Metal Deposition processes and engineer new systems and procedures for Hybrid Manufacturing in a research environment. David also works on extrapolating data from testing and industry applications to influence the future of machine tool technology.

David Alan Wilson attended Saginaw Valley State University from 2010 to 2015. David Alan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering/Industrial Management during their time there. Additionally, from 2011 to 2013, they attended Delta College where they earned an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Related Technologies/Technicians.
