Jason Thompson

Jason Thompson has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Jason is currently the Head of Digital Strategy at MCAN Financial Group since April 2022. Prior to this, they founded fin-evolv in November 2016, where they focused on helping early-stage financial services companies refine and execute their growth strategies. Jason was also the Head of Finance at Paidiem, a fintech startup, from March 2021 to August 2021, revolutionizing payment processes for contract and freelance workers. Jason has also held positions at Progressa, Scotiabank, and RBC Dominion Securities, where they served as an investor, managing director, and associate, respectively.

Jason Thompson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from The University of Bolton between 1990 and 1993. Jason later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance, General from the Ivey Business School at Western University between 1999 and 2001.
