Gilbert Gnany

Gilbert Gnany is currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Director at MCB Group Ltd since August 2009. Prior to this, Gilbert worked at the World Bank Group as a Senior Advisor in the Office of the Executive Directors. With extensive experience in various roles within MCB Group, including Group Head of Investors and Securities Services and Group Chief Economist, Gilbert has also served as the Economic Adviser to the Minister of Finance in the Republic of Mauritius. Gilbert's career began as an Economist-Statistician at the Mauritius Chamber of Agriculture, and Gilbert has held research positions at various organizations such as CEREPI and FREF. Gilbert holds degrees in Management Science, Economics, and Econometrics from universities in Paris and Toulouse.
