Ladc Taylor McCafferty

Taylor McCafferty, LADC, is a skilled Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor with a diverse background in addiction treatment and behavioral health. Currently employed at Midwestern Connecticut Council of Alcoholism since November 2020, Taylor specializes in court-contracted eligibility evaluations and clinical assessments for jail diversion programs. Taylor has also served as a Treatment Pathways Program Clinician, where responsibilities included managing pretrial cases and supervising treatment engagement. Additionally, Taylor holds a role as a Research Assistant at Fairleigh Dickinson University, contributing to a NIDA-funded study on digital interventions for women with substance use disorders. With prior experience in data entry and billing at Danbury Public Schools and extensive internships in substance use treatment and research, Taylor is pursuing a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology at Fairleigh Dickinson University, building on a solid educational foundation in psychology and addiction studies.
