Louis Wolthers

Louis Wolthers is currently the Regional President, Asia Pacific & South Africa (APACSA) at McCain Foods Canada. Prior to this, they were the CEO of AFGRI Foods from March 2001 to October 2009, and MD Tiger Milling from January 1999 to February 2001. Louis has also been self-employed as an Investor from November 2009 to April 2011.

Born in South Africa, Louis Wolthers graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with a degree in Agricultural Economics. After graduation, they worked for various companies in South Africa, including Tiger Brands Ltd and AFGRI Operations Limited. In their current role at McCain Foods Canada, Louis is responsible for the management and strategic direction of the business, as well as acquisitions and disposals. Under their leadership, McCain Foods has seen significant growth and expansion in the Asia Pacific & South Africa region.

Louis Wolthers has a B Com (Hons) in Accounting, CA (SA), and an M Com (Bus Man) in Financial Management, Accounting, Auditing, and Income Tax from the University of Johannesburg. Louis also has a Matric from Hoër Seunskool Helpmekaar.

Louis Wolthers reports to Max Koeune, President & CEO. They work with Paolo Picchi - Regional President, the Americas, William Doherty - President & CEO, Day & Ross Transportation Group, and Howard Snape - Regional President, Great Britain & Ireland.
