Susan Reid

Susan Reid joined McCalla Raymer Leibert Pierce, LLC as General Counsel in 2010. Ms. Reid has over twenty-five years of experience in commercial and residential real estate as well as mortgage banking. Prior to joining the firm, she spent fifteen years as associate General Counsel for Fannie Mae. During her tenure at Fannie Mae, Ms. Reid focused on origination and default related issues for the multi-family and single family businesses. More recently, Ms. Reid concentrated on foreclosure related issues including mandatory mediation and other legal strategies for managing the residential defaulted loan portfolio in various states.

As General Counsel, Ms. Reid supervises all litigation for the firm and ensures compliance with state and federal law, administrative requirements, and client requirements. She oversees all firm audits, vendor contracts, and advises the ownership of the firm in all matters concerning compliance and risk.
