Kevin Barnett

Kevin Barnett is an Associate Attorney at McGinnis Lochridge, having joined in May 2023. Previously, Kevin worked as an Associate Attorney at Ferguson Braswell Fraser Kubasta PC from May 2019 to April 2023 and at The Hunnicutt Law Firm, P.C. from April 2017 to May 2019. Kevin's experience includes complex business litigation, client interactions, drafting legal documents, engaging in motions practice, and negotiating contracts. Kevin also gained valuable skills as a Summer Law Clerk at Baker Donelson in 2014 and 2015, where responsibilities included drafting briefs and responding to discovery requests. Earlier legal training included a legal internship at Andrews Kurth Kenyon, focusing on research and client evaluations. Kevin holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Medicine, Health, and Society, as well as History of Art from Vanderbilt University.
