Danica Thompson

Danica Thompson has had two main work experiences. From January 2003 to May 2016, they served as the Executive Director for the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus, Inc. Then, from June 2016 to February 2018, they worked as the Assistant Vice President of Government Affairs at McGuireWoods Consulting. After that, they were promoted to Vice President of State Government Affairs, and the length of their tenure in that role is unspecified.

Danica Thompson obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Spelman College, where they attended from 1999 to 2003. Following this, they pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Birmingham School of Law from 2006 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, they became an Ambassador of the International Human Trafficking Institute (IHTI) at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in July 2019. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Preventing Workplace Harassment from McGuireWoods Consulting in 2018.
