Vice President, State Government Affairs at National Federation Of Independent Business

Tim Goodrich has a wealth of experience in government affairs and legislative advocacy. Tim has held various roles at the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), starting as the Regional State Public Policy Director for the North Region, where they managed state legislative and regulatory affairs in 15 states. Later, they became the Executive Director of State Government Relations, overseeing the strategic direction and objectives of the NFIB State Government Relations Department nationwide. Currently, Tim serves as the Vice President of State Government Affairs at NFIB, leading a team of professionals in all 50 states and developing legislative, regulatory, and political strategies. Prior to their time at NFIB, Tim worked at the Michigan Farm Bureau, serving as the Director of State Governmental Affairs and Legislative Counsel, where they represented Farm Bureau Insurance Group in various capacities before state and national legislatures. Tim also acted as the Chief of Staff for Michigan State Senator Paul Wartner, handling insurance and environmental legislation, as well as leading staff on legislative and political matters.

Tim Goodrich earned a BA degree in International Relations from Michigan State University in 1987. Tim later pursued further education at Western Michigan University, where they obtained an MPA degree in State Public Policy from 1995 to 1997.
