Stephen Gurney

Stephen Gurney serves as the VP of Corporate Development at MCI since March 2025, with previous experience as Managing Director at IndustryPro, where responsibilities included sourcing proprietary M&A deal flow for private equity firms and managing extensive industry connections. Gurney has a robust background in finance and M&A, having held significant roles including CFO & Managing Director at Viant Group, LLC, where over 50 strategic transactions were executed in technology sectors. Previous positions include Senior Associate at Groton Partners, Associate at Harborstone, Seven Hills, and ING, in which Gurney focused on M&A, capital raising, and transaction execution across various industries. Early career experience includes software engineering roles at Ingen Corp, Orbital ATK, and GE (NASA - Goddard), where Gurney developed systems and software for advanced technology applications. Gurney holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
