Sylvia Covarrubias Fong

Sylvia Covarrubias Fong possesses extensive legal experience in the healthcare sector, having served in various capacities at McKesson from January 2013 to January 2021, including Chief Counsel for Cell, Gene & Advanced Therapies and Managing Chief Counsel. Prior to that, Sylvia was involved with El Camino Health from November 2009 to January 2013, advising on compliance with federal healthcare laws and managing legal services. Most recently, from January 2021 to May 2023, Sylvia held the position of Head of Legal at Alto Pharmacy, where responsibilities included building an in-house legal function and developing regulatory strategies to support business growth. Sylvia earned a JD from The George Washington University Law School and a BA in Sociology and Spanish Language & Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
