David Sloan has a diverse work experience in various creative and marketing roles. David started their career as a Marketing Associate at SciQuest, where they focused on internal and external marketing materials and trade show presence. David then worked as an Associate Marketing Manager at Intervolve, where they created and distributed marketing materials and edited website copy. David later joined the Department of Health and Human Services as a Disability Determination Specialist for a brief period. David then served as a Marketing Coordinator at Inlet Technologies, where they developed online and physical sales tools and collaborated with outside agencies for product launch campaigns. Afterwards, David worked as a Marketing Manager at Ultimus, where they managed customer communication and marketing outreach and contributed to a global corporate rebrand. David then pursued a role as a Copywriting Intern at Publicis Advertising, where they gained insights into client work. David furthered their education at VCU Brandcenter, where they earned a Master's degree in Mass Communications and excelled in the Richmond Advertising Awards. David then joined McKinney, initially as a Copywriter and later advanced to the role of Associate Creative Director. Currently, they hold the position of Creative Director at McKinney. David's most recent career venture is as a Partner and Creative Director at Black Ops Tackle.

David Sloan completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and English at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1999 to 2003. David pursued further education and obtained a Masters degree in Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University from 2009 to 2010.
