Terry Levee has extensive work experience in the field of food safety and quality assurance. Starting in 1990, Terry held various roles at Winn Dixie Stores, including Manager of Regulatory Affairs and Product Quality and Director of Food Safety and Sanitation. During this time, Terry developed and implemented food safety programs, managed company policies, and led a team of professionals. From 2009 to 2011, Terry worked as the Director of Quality Assurance at Giant-Landover, where they were responsible for ensuring food safety and quality within retail and distribution facilities. Terry then served as the Director of Food Safety Programs at Food Marketing Institute from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, Terry joined Deloitte & Touche LLP as a Retail Food Safety SME, focusing on strategy development, business development, and engagement delivery. Terry then worked at Natural Markets Food Group as the Director of Quality Assurance and Food Safety in 2014. From 2015 to 2023, Terry held the position of Sr. Director of Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance at Giant Eagle, Inc., where they managed a team and drove continuous improvement in food safety and quality assurance. In 2023, Terry became a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Consultant, providing expertise in food safety, sanitation, and quality-related initiatives. Currently, Terry is the Sr. Director of Food Safety and Quality Assurance at McLane Company, Inc., where they provide strategic leadership and guidance in food safety and quality assurance companywide.

Terry Levee obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Environmental Health from East Carolina University from 1980 to 1984. Additionally, Terry Levee has obtained several certifications including Communicable Disease Control and Investigation from CDC, FSMA PCQI from the American Frozen Food Institute, Hazardous Waste Incidence Response from NEHA, Insect, Rodent, Vector Control from CDC, NIMS 700 from FEMA, Registered Environmental Health Specialist from the State of NC, and Seafood HACCP from AFDOSS.
