In 2000, they founded Medical Technology Mgt, Inc. where they served as the President and CEO, providing clinical engineering consulting services to the healthcare community. Dave specialized in developing in-house CE programs and consolidated service delivery models. In 2002, they joined McLaren Health Care as the Corp Director of Clinical Engineering, where they developed and managed a corporate CE program serving multiple hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Dave also served as the Vice President of Clinical Engineering before retiring in 2020. In the same year, they became the President of HTM Insource, LLC, providing clinical engineering consulting services. Overall, Dave Dickey has extensive experience in developing in-house CE programs, reducing costs, and strategic planning in the healthcare industry.

Dave Dickey, CCE, CHC, FACHE, AAMIF, CHTM completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Michigan State University from 1972 to 1976. Dave then pursued a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 1976 to 1978.
