Max Farago

Co-Founder & CTO at Meaningful Gigs

Max Farago is the co-founder and CTO of Meaningful Gigs, an organization that has built a strong community of African designers for Creative, Marketing, and Product teams who want highly skilled and diverse designers. Max has always been passionate about technology and its ability to create change in the world. Max started their career as a web application developer, building and maintaining around a dozen web apps for SMBs. Max then transitioned into data science, first as a Data Science Fellow at Metis, then as a Data Scientist/Data Engineer at PreciseTarget. Most recently, they were the VP of Engineering at Deep Root Analytics. At Meaningful Gigs, Max is using their skills and experience to create 100,000 skilled jobs for Africans by 2028.

Max Farago attended the University of New Mexico School of Law from 2009 to 2012, where they were a member of the Chess Club. Max transferred to St. John's College (NM) in 2008 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Classics in 2009. Max was also a member of the Chess Club at St. John's. Prior to attending St. John's, they attended Horace Mann School from 1994 to 2003, where they were a member of the Chess Club.

Max Farago works with a small team of colleagues including a customer success manager, co-founder and COO, marketing manager, and account executive. Max also has a small team of engineers who report to him.
