Samara Macy

Samara Macy is a Community Engagement Specialist at Medair since November 2021, where responsibilities also include social media marketing. Prior experience includes an internship at SALTS exhibition space, focused on supporting emerging artists, and roles at George Fox University as a Ceramics Studio Technician and Gallery Assistant for the NCECA show. Additionally, Samara interned with the International Academy of Ceramics, managing administrative tasks and communication. Educational qualifications consist of a Bachelor of Science in Arts and Cultural Studies from Erasmus University Rotterdam, a Bachelor of Science in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Vienna, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine and Studio Arts from George Fox University, and high school diplomas from Black Forest Academy and Pan American Christian Academy. Further studies were undertaken at SBT Beatenberg, focusing on biblical theology.
