Andrew Velis

Andrew Velis is a highly experienced engineering leader currently serving as Director of Engineering at Medallia since August 2019, where Andrew successfully implemented a turnaround plan for a low-performing team, establishing a monthly release cadence and streamlining deployment processes. Prior to this, Andrew held the position of Engineering Manager at both Medallia and Promoter.io, where Andrew led initiatives to enhance APIs for seamless Single Sign-On authentication and bridged gaps caused by the absence of a Product Manager. Andrew also contributed as a Senior Software Engineer at FIS, co-leading the company's inaugural hackathon, and at mFoundry, where Andrew spearheaded the development of Bank of America's first native iOS mobile banking application. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco.
