Brian Ring

Brian Ring has been working in the field of science for over 20 years. Brian began their career in 1995 as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University. In 2000, they worked as an Investigator at the RIKEN Functional Annotation of the Mouse (FANTOM) Consortium in Japan and as a Principal Investigator at Applied Genomics. Between 2008 and 2011, they served as the Chief Scientific Officer and Co-founder of iDNA Inc. and as a Contractor at GE Healthcare, where they were involved in clinical study design, biomarker discovery and validation, diagnostic and prognostic assay development, bioinformatics, statistics and analysis, and data modeling. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as a Professor and Director at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. In 2017, they took on the role of Director of Bioinformatics at Exploragen. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Chief Scientific Officer of MedAnswers.

Brian Ring attended Cornell University from 1989 to 1995, where they received their Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Genetics. Prior to that, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1985 to 1989 and obtained their BS in Molecular Biology.
