Zach Fitzsimmons

Zach Fitzsimmons is currently the Lead of Clinical Business Development at Medavie Health Services and serves on the Clinical Advisory Group for The Blue Venture Fund. With extensive experience in prehospital care and education, Zach has been a Literature Appraiser for the Prehospital Evidence Based Practice Team at Dalhousie University since 2018. Prior to the current roles, Zach held various positions at Medavie HealthEd, including General Manager, where responsibilities included the development and launch of new paramedic programs and oversight of accreditation processes. As a Paramedic Educator, curriculum development was a key focus, incorporating advanced simulation and patient-centered learning. Zach's career began as a Primary Care Paramedic and transitioned to roles involving clinical trials management and research assistance. Zach holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Dalhousie University and completed the ManageMentor Leadership Program at Harvard Business School Online.
