The Sales Director, Payer & Broker Sales will join the revenue generation team, participating significantly in the strategic growth plans to further penetrate the healthcare payer & broker marketplace across North America. This candidate will be expected to develop meaningful and productive relationships with both internal colleagues and a wide array of leaders at healthcare payer organizations across the assigned accounts and territory. The individual will need to be a highly motivated, career-oriented individual with a competitive drive and desire to work in Healthcare IT sales. Experience selling SaaS solutions into healthcare payers required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Experienced sales leader that has been accountable for over $5M+ annual quota
  • Demonstrated sales track record in highly competitive environments with the ability to qualify opportunities, obtain customer commitments, and negotiate and close contracts
  • Generating revenue in assigned accounts and territories by engaging directly with prospects in the field
  • Direct selling responsibility for large, complex 6- and 7-figure deals.
  • Proven experience managing a complex sales cycle and selling to multiple levels within mid-sized and large enterprise organizations
  • Develop and manage account and territory plans and pipeline development strategies to meet or exceed quarterly and annual bookings targets
  • Proven relationship management skills with healthcare payer executives (C-level) and other stakeholders across the assigned accounts and territory to drive new business opportunities for the company
  • Ability to understand the business challenges our prospects and clients are facing and aligning these challenges to the capabilities of our products and services
  • Work directly with Product team to bring new solutions to market, and offerings to New Healthcare Markets

Education, Experience, and Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of related experience selling to Payers within the SaaS space
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred
  • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding annual quota
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working for healthcare analytics software company is preferred, but not required
  • High motivation, a desire to win, and a desire to work for a winning organization
  • Adaptable to change in a fast-growing company
  • Passionate about healthcare

Additional Information:

MedeAnalytics believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $160-185k + Commission Opportunities USD. Please note that actual compensations for all roles may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, relevant work experience, professional achievements/qualifications, skill level, business need, location and will be finalized at the time of offer.
