Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, exclusion from healthcare and natural disasters. MSF offers assistance to people based on need and irrespective if race, religion, gender or political affiliation.

MSF is a non-profit organization. It was founded in Paris, France in 1971. Thousands of health professionals, logistical and administrative staff manage projects in 71 countries worldwide. MSF International is based in Geneva, Switzerland. MSF was awarded a Seoul Peace Prize in 1996 and a Nobel Peace Prize in 1999 in the recognition of its performances in promoting international awareness. 

국경없는의사회는 국제 인도주의 의료 구호 단체로 의료 지원을 받지 못하거나 무력분쟁, 전염병, 자연재해 등으로 생존을 위협 받는 사람들을 대상으로 긴급 구호 활동을 하고 있습니다. 국경없는의사회는 인종이나 종교, 성별, 정치적 신념에 따라 차별하지 않고 의료 지원을 합니다.

국경없는의사회는 1971년 프랑스 파리에서 설립된 비영리 단체로, 국제 사무소는 스위스 제네바에 위치하고 있습니다. 지금 이 시간에도 수많은 보건 전문가, 로지스티션, 행정가들이 70개국 이상에서 프로젝트를 운영하고 있습니다. 국경없는의사회는 선도적인 인도주의 활동을 인정받아 1996년 서울 평화상,  1999년 노벨 평화상을 수상했습니다. 


Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Korea office opened in 2012, based in Seoul. The MSF Korea office focuses on four key pillars: (1) recruitment of skilled Korean medical and non-medical staff to dispatch to MSF field projects, (2) communications to the Korean public on global humanitarian crises and urgent health emergencies, (3) outreach to Korean stakeholders and policymakers in support of international community engagement and action, (4) and fundraising from Korean donors to directly support MSF medical humanitarian activities.

국경없는의사회 한국은 2012년 서울에 사무실을 열었습니다. 국경없는의사회 한국 사무소는 (1) 국경없는의사회 현장 프로젝트에 파견할 숙련된 한국인 의료•비의료 직원 채용, (2) 한국 대중에게 전 세계의 인도주의 위기 및 긴급한 보건 비상사태에 관한 내용 전달,  (3) 국제사회 참여 및 행동 지원을 위해 한국의 이해 관계자•정책 입안자와 소통, (4) 한국인 기부자들로부터 기금을 모금해 국경없는의사회의 인도주의 의료 활동 직접 지원 등의 활동에 중점을 두고 있습니다.
