Nicolas Le Clainche has extensive work experience in the field of user experience (UX) and service design. Nicolas has held various leadership roles in different companies, starting with their current position as the Principal User Experience Director at MediaMonks since September 2020.

Prior to MediaMonks, Nicolas worked as the Lead User Experience & Service Design Consultant at Eurostar from June 2018 to April 2020. In this role, they facilitated product strategy workshops, originated new features based on data insights, conducted user testing, and oversaw UI designers. Nicolas also focused on Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) through insights and multivariate testing.

Before Eurostar, Nicolas briefly worked as the Lead UX at Engine Service Design in 2018. Nicolas also served as the Lead UX at NTT DATA from October 2016 to March 2018, where they were involved in RMA Consulting. Additionally, they worked as the Head of UX cover at AMV BBDO for a short period in August and September 2016.

Further back in their career, Nicolas held the role of Experience Design Lead at Transport for London from March to July 2016. In this position, they led a service design project aimed at improving customer satisfaction. Nicolas conducted research, analyzed qualitative and quantitative data, developed a service blueprint, and provided strategic recommendations.

Before Transport for London, they worked as a User Experience Lead (Consultant) at AnalogFolk and as a Lead UX Consultant (Covering for the Head of UX) at AMV BBDO, both in 2016.

In 2015, Nicolas worked as the Principal Service Design Consultant at EY-Seren, where they were involved in researching and developing a digital identity solution for financial transactions. Nicolas also worked as a Consultant at ustwo, where they contributed to the concept development and interaction design of the Barclays Mobile Banking iOS App.

Nicolas Le Clainche holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) & Ergonomics from UCL, which they obtained between 2011 and 2012. Nicolas also has a qualification in Prince 2 from the ILX Group, earned in 2007. In terms of their legal studies, Nicolas obtained a Master's degree in Business Law, focusing on International Business, Trade, and Tax Law, from the Université Paris Nanterre between 1993 and 1999. Additionally, they hold a certificate in Web Design and Site management from The American University of Paris, completed in 2000. Nicolas has obtained certifications in Service Design from the University of the Arts London in 2017, and a separate certification in MSc Human-Computer Interaction & Ergonomics from UCL in 2012.
