Director Of Sales, US Carriers And Webscale at MediaKind

Melanie Capps has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and media industry. Melanie currently serves as the Director of Sales, US Carriers and Webscale at MediaKind since February 2019. Prior to this, they held various roles at Ericsson. From 2015 to 2019, they were the Sales Director for Ericsson Media Solutions, where they focused on addressing the needs of service providers, broadcasters, and new media in content and media management. From 2012 to 2015, they served as the Customer Solutions Sales Director for the TV and Media Management Engagement Practice, driving value creation and thought leadership with replicable media management and delivery solutions. Additionally, from 2011 to 2012, they were an Associate Principal Consultant, responsible for developing practice strategy and collaborating with customer units to grow the practice business. Before that, they worked as a Senior Consultant and Consultant in Ericsson's Business Consulting division from 2004 to 2011, providing strategic and business expertise to clients. Melanie also has experience as a Marketing Manager at Ericsson, where they started their career in 1998.

Melanie Capps completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business and Music from the University of North Texas between 1991 and 1995. Subsequently, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Marketing at The University of Dallas, where they studied from 2000 to 2003.
