Mickaël Fossard

Product System Integration Engineer at MediaKind

Mickaël Fossard has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mickaël started their career with a training period at Motorola in 1999. Following that, they worked as a Computer Science teacher for the Officers students in the Navy at École Navale, where they also administered the laboratory network. In 2000, they joined Thomson as an Application Specific Integrated Circuit Design Engineer, where they specialized in video decoding coprocessor specifications and coding algorithms. In 2008, Mickaël joined Technicolor as a System Integrator, where they worked on Linux and Android products. Mickaël later took on the role of a Linux embedded software integrator, focusing on video decoder projects and software configuration management. Mickaël also worked as a Hybrid STB Software Developer at Technicolor. In 2020, Mickaël joined MediaKind as a Product & System Integration Engineer.

Mickaël Fossard attended The University of Salford from 1996 to 1997, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial Control Systems. Following this, from 1997 to 1999, they enrolled in ESIR - Ecole Supérieure d'ingénieurs de Rennes, where they specialized in Computer Engineering with a focus on Machine Architecture.
