Karan Khanna

Karan Khanna is Chief Technology Officer at Mediaocean, serving previously as Chief Technology Officer and co-founder at 4C. Prior to that, Karan was Vice-president at Salesforce.com where he led the Force.com teams and before that, Director at Amazon where he was responsible for the strategy, product management, technology development, and operations of Amazon Kindle content platform and services. Karan has previously worked at Microsoft in roles including a Product Unit Manager developing Small Business software, and as Director of Marketing in the Windows and Office divisions. Prior to Microsoft, Karan founded and led a software startup that focused on handwriting software solutions and worked as a Software Development Engineer at Digital Equipment Corp. Karan has an MBA from Dartmouth College, an M.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, and a B.E. from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He lives in Seattle.
