Yolanda Collins is an experienced professional in dispute resolution and conflict management, currently serving as an Alternative Dispute Resolution Advisor at FEMA since September 2023. With a longstanding commitment to humanitarian initiatives, Yolanda has been an Ombudsman for Mediators Beyond Borders International since February 2015, focusing on community-based peace-building efforts. Additionally, Yolanda has worked as a Community Facilitator with Public Engagement Associates, facilitating large-scale town meetings on public policy issues. Previous roles include serving as AFGE Steward at the EEOC Atlanta District Office, Shared Neutral Mediator at the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, and ADR Mediator at the EEOC. Yolanda's background also includes mediation with the Veteran’s Administration and experience in various legal and governmental environments. Academically, Yolanda holds a Master's in Human Service Administration and a Master's in Negotiation and Conflict Management from the University of Baltimore, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Goucher College.
