Tulio Hernandez

Tulio Hernandez has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Tulio began their career in 1988 as a Systems Administrator at The J. Paul Getty Trust, where they developed software for art historical research and managed the Trust's software and database infrastructure. From 1997 to 2001, they held positions at Credit Suisse, American Management Systems (AMS), and CIBC World Markets as an AVP Database Operations, Principal, and Director of the DBA Development Group, respectively. From 2001 to 2006, they worked at Bank of America as a Database Architect, delegating responsibilities of assignments to developers and DBAs and interfacing with business managers, application users, and project managers to gather/define/document requirements for new initiatives. From 2006 to 2010, they worked at Goldman Sachs as a Vice President in the Database Engineering Group, responsible for the design, development, and implementation of ongoing database engineering projects. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at Millennium Management as a Software Engineer, leading several projects to upgrade underlying infrastructure components and responsible for the design, development and implementation of ongoing financial system projects. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at Warby Parker as a Sr. Data Engineer. Currently, they are a Manager of Data Engineering at MediaWallah.

Tulio Hernandez attended UC Santa Barbara from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
