Melissa Fielitz

As Senior Revenue Cycle Manager, Melissa Ann Fielitz oversees MMG’s Revenue Cycle Operations for Southwest Medical Group & House Providers. In her role, Melissa focuses heavily on client success, while also collaborating closely with the CFO and others to make important internal improvements, including cost management and the evaluation of current and new services to adapt to better serve MMG’s clients and team. Melissa is skilled in AR Management, Coding, Denials, Collections, and Bad Debt Management and has experience working with a broad range of tools and programs, including CPSI, AllScripts, Cerner, Medent, RevSpring products, various collection agencies, early out programs.

With over 20 years of healthcare experience, Melissa previously served as Director of Corporate Reimbursement at Pomerene Hospital, where she oversaw all Revenue Cycle operations for both the hospital and its practices, including Billing, Patient Access, Health Information, Coding, and implementation of their CDI program. Her management of the Physician Practices included OB/GYN, Midwifery, General Surgery, Family Practice, and Internal Medicine.

Melissa earned her Associate of Applied Science at Stark State College and a Bachelor of Business Management from Kent State University.
