Subhajit Giri is a Senior Fellow at the Medical College of Wisconsin since December 2022 and has previously held various significant roles, including FNRS Postdoctoral Fellow and Postdoctoral Scientist at the University of Liège from July 2019 to December 2022. Subhajit also served as a Guest Editor for Cells MDPI from September 2021 to December 2022 and worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (DBT-inStem) from February 2018 to June 2019. Subhajit's academic journey began with the completion of a PhD in Human/Medical Genetics from the University of Calcutta (2011-2018), supported by a Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Research Fellowship at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2015-2016. Subhajit also holds an M.Sc. in Biochemistry from Vidyasagar University (2007-2009) and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Calcutta (2004-2007). Early education included a Higher Secondary degree in Pure Science from Contai Model Institution and a Madhyamik degree from Howrah Vivekananda Institution.
