Brett Seyfried

Brett Seyfried, MBA, PMP has a diverse work experience ranging from the healthcare industry to real estate. Starting in 2008, they joined the Medical University of South Carolina where they held various roles. Brett began as a Systems Analyst II and worked their way up to becoming the Executive Director of MUSC Health Community Connections Group. In this role, they were responsible for Epic Community Connect sales, mergers/acquisitions, and system integrations for affiliate hospitals. Throughout their time at MUSC, they also served as the Deputy Chief Information Officer - Health System, Associate CIO of Infrastructure, Director of Clinical and Revenue Cycle Systems, Director of Clinical Systems, Manager of Emergency and Perioperative Systems, Epic Project Manager, and Senior Systems Analyst. Prior to their time at MUSC, they worked as an IT Trainer and Support at Prudential Carolina Real Estate from 2005 to 2008.

Brett Seyfried holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the Florida Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2013 to 2015. Prior to their MBA, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Science from the State University of New York at Oswego, graduating from 2000 to 2004. Furthermore, they have obtained the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute, although the exact year and month are not specified.
