Paul Freedman

Paul Freedman has over 40 years of work experience in the medical field. Paul began their career in 1972 as an Attending Physician at Baycrest Center for Geriatric Care, where they worked until 1988. In 1986, they became the Medical Director at Cedarvale Terrace Nursing Home. Paul then served as the Medical Director for Harold and Grace Baker Center Nursing and Retirement Home from 2000 onwards, supervising three physicians and providing care for approximately 120 residents.

In 1992, Paul became the Medical Director at Livent Inc, where they cared for actors and employees across North America and managed Workers Compensation cases. From 1998 to 2008, they worked as a Medical Consultant for the Canadian Stage Company.

Since 1973, Paul has also worked in Family Medicine, initially at 491 Lawrence Ave W in Toronto and later as a Teacher of Family Medicine and Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Mt Sinai Family Medicine Group. Paul has been with Medisys since 2006, serving as the Medical Director for the Toronto office and overseeing executive health care professionals, as well as providing medical care to executives. Paul is also the founder and medical supervisor of the Medisys 1 24/7 medical program in Toronto.

Paul Freedman completed their high school education at Forest Hill Collegiate Institute in Toronto from 1960 to 1964. Paul graduated "Summa cum Laude" with a focus on Science and Mathematics. Following that, they attended the University of Toronto from 1964 to 1970, where they obtained their MD degree in Medicine. There is no available information about any education they may have had before high school or any subsequent education they pursued after obtaining their MD.
