Carla van den Bos

Founder and Consultant at Meds²Go

Carla van den Bos has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2000, they worked as a Scholingsconsulent at Dienst Werk en Inkomen, Gemeente Amsterdam. From 2003 to 2005, they were a Reintegratie Coach at Alexander Calder. Carla then joined Gemeente Leiden as a Casemanager arbeidsmarkttoeleiding from 2005 to 2007.

In 2007, Carla started working at Stichting De Haardstee as a Social worker/persoonlijk begeleider jongeren, where they stayed until 2011. During this time, they also became a Bestuurslid at Nederlandse Hypofyse Stichting, responsible for Communication. From 2011 to 2014, Carla held this position.

In 2014, they started a role as a Blogger at Zorgopbrengst.nl, where they focused on blogging about improving and threatening factors in the healthcare sector in the Netherlands. In the same year, Carla joined Leiden University Medical Center as a Lid Clientenraad LUMC, where they represented the patients' perspective and acted as a conversation partner for the board of directors. Carla remained in this role until 2018.

In 2016, Carla participated in YES!Delft's LaunchLab program as a representative of the startup Meds2Go. Carla also became a Founder and CEO of Meds2Go in the same year. Meds2Go aims to provide solutions for the cooling of medicines, particularly in the 'last mile' of the cold chain. Carla's work in this role continued until 2021.

Lastly, in 2022, Carla became a Founder and Consultant at Meds2Go.

Carla van den Bos started their education at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained a bachelor's degree in Social Work. Continuing their academic journey, they enrolled at the University of Amsterdam from 1999 to 2003, earning a bachelor's degree in sociology.
