Sasank Kottapalli

Sasank Kottapalli began their work experience as a Student AI Researcher at Infosys in 2016. During this time, they worked as an intern under the research team, focusing on simulations of real-time challenges faced by aircraft. Sasank used Reinforcement Learning to adapt to weather situations and suggest optimal operations to prevent flight delays. In 2017, they joined Parseval as an Artificial Intelligence R&D Engineer until 2018. Currently, Sasank works at Meeami Technologies, Inc. as the Technical Head of AI Audio R&D. Sasank leads a team of over 20 members in developing state-of-the-art AI-based projects such as noise cancellation, speech processing, and context awareness. Sasank is responsible for research, algorithm design, deep learning model compression, and project execution, deployment, and control.

Sasank Kottapalli pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from GITAM Deemed University, from the year 2013 to 2017. Following their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education by enrolling in the University of Central Florida, where they obtained a Master's degree in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, from the year 2017 to 2019.
