Ashley Brooke Roberts

Ashley Brooke Roberts is a seasoned writer and comedian with extensive experience in the entertainment industry. Currently serving as a writer for Meet Cute since December 2019, Ashley crafts episodic romantic comedies for an audio network. Recent engagement as a comedian with the Climate Comedy Cohort from March to November 2023 involved collaboration with fellow comedians to develop climate-conscious comedy. Previous roles include teaching comedy at Sarah Lawrence College during its Writers' Week and producing for Prime Video's Play-Doh Squished. Ashley has also contributed writing to NPR's trivia show Ask Me Another and served as a head teacher at Kids N’ Comedy for several years. Notable earlier positions include staff writer for National Geographic's Explorer series, social media director and copywriter at Lifetime TV, and publicist/copywriter at Seven Stories Press. Ashley holds a degree from North Carolina State University, earned between 2003 and 2007.
