Ian Thorn

Ian Thorn, a Member of Wiltshire Council, represents residents in Calne and campaigns on local issues. Additionally, as the Chairman of the Financial Planning Task Force, Ian leads the financial scrutiny of the council. Ian is also the owner of Meeting Place Communications Ltd, a business Ian founded and grew to 30 consultants with a turnover of £1.7 million. Ian also owns HappyBusiness Ltd, where Ian advises start-ups and SMEs on business growth. Prior to this, Ian was a Director at Green Issues Communications Ltd, where Ian was part of the senior management team, winning business and supporting clients' projects. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Colchester Institute.
