Sophie Elder

Sophie Elder is an experienced Line Producer currently at Megalis VFX since February 2024. Previously, Sophie served as Production Manager and Production Coordinator at Rising Sun Pictures from January 2018 to October 2023, where responsibilities included creating effective schedules and addressing creative and technical challenges. Additional experience includes roles as Department Production Coordinator at Wētā FX, overseeing shot tracking and scheduling, and as TV Producer at Smoke & Mirrors, managing high-profile TVC and digital content projects. Early career includes positions as Digital Producer at Sony and Ascent Media, handling DVD and Blu-ray post-production, and as Production Assistant at BBC, focusing on liaising with producers and addressing technical queries.
