Ryan Michaelis

Ryan Michaelis has an extensive work experience in the food industry. Ryan started their career at Hormel Foods in 1997, where they held various roles in sales and management. Ryan served as the Sales Director from April 2013 to October 2015, and before that, they were the Corporate Manager of Category Sales from December 2009 to March 2013. Prior to these roles, they managed the sales of the Hormel Foods grocery products portfolio for the US, specifically focusing on Wal-Mart stores.

In 2015, Ryan joined MegaMex Foods as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the MegaMex Joint Venture. In this role, they led a large marketing and sales team and was responsible for brand development, sales strategy, and long-term planning. Ryan later became the President & CEO of MegaMex Foods, reporting directly to the Board of Managers. In this position, they defined the corporate vision and ensured the profitability and growth of the company.

Ryan Michaelis attended Kansas State University from 1992 to 1997 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Business with a focus on Marketing.
