Eftekar Ahmed

Eftekar Ahmed is an experienced engineering professional specializing in marine and mechanical fields. Currently serving as Senior Executive Engineer at Orion Oil & Shipping Limited since September 2022, Eftekar has also held the position of Base Engineer in Maritime Maintenance at Meghna Group of Industries since July 2017. Previous roles include Marine Engineer at sindabad Maritime Consultant Pte, GP Maintenance Specialist at Chevron, Operations Engineer at Covanta, Assistant Shift Engineer at ANANDA SHIPYARD & SLIPWAYS LTD, and Engine Cadet at Eagle Shipping Lines. Eftekar holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Sonargaon University and an Engineer’s Degree in Marine Engineering from Bangladesh Institute of Marine Technology.
