Yuri Kaz Kestenberg

Yuri Kaz Kestenberg is a Senior Data Scientist at Melio since December 2021, focusing on simplifying B2B payments to support small businesses. Previously, Yuri worked as a Data Scientist at Pecan from November 2019 to December 2021, where responsibilities included developing end-to-end data science pipelines and automating processes with PySpark. Prior experiences include a role at Proonto, where work involved feature engineering and building analytics dashboards, as well as fellowships at the Israel Innovation Authority and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, handling data analysis and multilingual projects. Yuri’s academic background includes a Data Science Fellowship from Israel Tech Challenge and a Bachelor's Degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, complemented by a study abroad program at the University of Bristol.
