Paola Vasquez

Paola Vasquez is a paralegal at the Foundation. In this capacity, she supports the legal, contract management, and grant management work of the Foundation.

Ms. Vasquez is a legal professional with over seven years of experience, with strong project management and client relations skills, in the areas of business operations, compliance, health care policy, legislation, court procedures, and government regulations.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Ms. Vasquez served as a legal assistant at MetroPlus Health, a health insurance company that provides its members with access to high quality, cost effective healthcare, partnering with New York City Health and Hospitals and other providers. Her varied responsibilities included implementing office-wide legal policies/procedures, reviewing vendor contracts/ business associate agreements, managing all subpoenas, liens, levies and legal documents to ensure they were in compliance with MetroPlus policies.

Ms. Vasquez holds a BA in sociology and a MPA in public and nonprofit management from the University at Albany. She also holds an Asana project management certification from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering and Pathstream.
