Eric Johnson

Eric Johnson is a highly experienced firmware and software engineer with a strong background in developing innovative solutions across various industries. Currently serving as a Firmware Solutions Architect at Memfault since October 2022, previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at Walgreens, where Eric helped establish a new RPM devices team, and Senior Firmware Engineer at Athos, leading the development of next-gen products and fostering community contributions to the Zephyr project. Other notable experiences include contributing to firmware development at Acuity Brands, where Eric led teams in data collection and machine learning projects, and firmware and electrical engineering roles at Lexmark and Zebra Technologies. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
