Maho Toyomura

Maho Toyomura is a dedicated research technician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, responsible for processing blood and urine samples for PBMC isolation while adhering to sterile guidelines. In addition to current research work, Maho serves as the Northeast Regional Coordinator for the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers, providing support and mentorship to four collegiate chapters. Previous leadership roles include President and Vice President of the organization, where Maho oversaw fundraising and event planning. Maho has been active in promoting Japanese culture through roles such as Publicity Chair and Cultural Chair for the Binghamton University Japanese Association and has experience as a Japanese tutor and researcher in a university lab. Maho holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Studies from Binghamton University.
