Nathan Brasfield is the Coordinator of Academic and Alumni Affairs at Memphis Theological Seminary. Nathan previously served as the Administrative Assistant for the Dean and Associate Deans at the seminary from January 2019 to July 2019. From November 2017 to February 2018, they were the Manager at the Cooper-Young Community Farmers Market. From April 2013 to March 2016, they were the Director of Local Serving & Outreach at Christ Church Memphis, where they were responsible for serving as a liaison between the congregation and partner organizations in the city, guiding the congregation in living lives of service to the community, providing instruction on matters related to mission work and the realities of urban poverty, and providing staff oversight to benevolence assistance. From January 2012 to September 2013, they were the Ministry Coordinator of Christ Church Global at Christ Church Memphis.

Nathan Brasfield received a Master of Arts in Bible/Biblical Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary, 29 graduate credit hours in theology from Emory University, a Bachelor of Arts in Bible/Biblical Studies from Crichton College, and a Doctor of Ministry in Land, Food, and Faith Formation from Memphis Theological Seminary.
