YABEI GU

Yabei Gu is a Senior thermal and structural engineer II at Menlo Micro, focusing on electronic packaging design for new MEMs switch product development. Prior to this role, Yabei Gu worked as a Senior Staff Scientist at LuxWall, Inc., where they were involved in the development of net zero glazing. They also have experience as a Senior Engineer - Mechanical at Abbott, where they focused on multiphysics modeling and simulating of thermal/mechanical effects on AIMD upon MRI. With a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego and a Postdoctoral Scholar degree from Caltech, Yabei Gu has a strong technical background in various engineering projects from aerospace coatings to transparent armor composite design.
