Matthew Long has extensive experience in software engineering and development. Matthew has worked at Mention Me as a Software Engineer since 2017. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Matter Technology from 2015 to 2017, where they were responsible for the entire technical output of the company. Matthew worked with emerging technologies and established stalwarts to deliver high-quality products for clients such as Johnson & Johnson and PwC.

Before that, Matthew was the Owner and Technical Director at Black Cherry Digital from 2013 to 2017, offering consultancy and software development services across various sectors. Matthew also worked as a Technical Lead at Syncapse from 2011 to 2013, where they drove technology decisions and advancements for the platform product. Prior to that, they were a Senior Developer at Nudge Social Media from 2010 to 2011, where they developed web applications for desktop and mobile using Facebook APIs for clients including SCEE, Reckitt-Benkiser, PepsiCo, and O2.

Matthew's career also includes roles as a Senior Developer at Initiative Solutions from 2004 to 2008, where they were responsible for the development of a mobile messaging platform and worked on various projects for clients. Matthew started their career as a Lead Developer at Rock Matrix from 2003 to 2004, where they worked on the development and support of a music portal site.
