Paul Rojas

Paul Rojas has a diverse work experience in software development, with roles ranging from Technical Lead to Senior Software Engineer. Paul most recently worked at Meratas as a Technical Lead, where they improved the app's performance, implemented new features, and fixed bugs. Prior to that, they were a Senior Full Stack Engineer at WebCreek and Nexgen Soluciones, where they supported legacy code and improved core features. Paul also worked as a Senior Javascript Developer at Truelogic Software, Consultant Team Lead Frontend Developer at Shutterfly Inc. through Nexgen Soluciones, and Senior Frontend Developer at Mahisoft Inc and TEAM International. Additionally, Paul has experience as a Research & Developer Manager at AGTI and as a freelancer, where they were responsible for planning, designing, and developing software projects. Paul started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Universidad Autonoma del caribe, where they developed and deployed information systems.

Paul Rojas has a diverse education history. Paul began their educational journey in 1994 at Universidad Autónoma del Caribe, where they pursued a degree in Ingeniero de Sistemas with a specialization in development of web and mobile applications. Paul completed this degree in 2001.

In 2004, Paul enrolled at the University of Louisville, where they obtained a Master's degree in Engineering Management. Paul attended this university for one year and successfully obtained their degree in 2005.

After their time at the University of Louisville, Paul Rojas pursued various certifications and courses focused on MongoDB. In 2014, they completed the M101P: MongoDB for Python Developers course at MongoDB University. Following this, in the same year, they also completed the M101JS: MongoDB for Node.js Developers course.

In 2015, Paul expanded their knowledge by completing two more courses at MongoDB University. Paul first completed the M102: MongoDB for DBAs course, followed by the M202: MongoDB Advanced Deployment and Operations course.

In addition to their university degrees and MongoDB courses, Paul Rojas also obtained certifications from other platforms. In 2019, they received a certification in "Building Applications with React and Redux" from Pluralsight. Later, in 2023, they obtained a certification in "React: Design Patterns" from LinkedIn.
