James Sweeney

James Sweeney is a seasoned software development professional with extensive experience in Agile methodologies and team management. Currently serving as a Software Development Manager at Merative since July 2022, James effectively schedules and hosts Agile Ceremonies and facilitates daily Stand Ups to ensure clear communication and issue resolution. Prior to this role, James held several positions at Merge Healthcare, an IBM Company, from August 2013 to June 2022, including Iteration Manager and Product Owner, where responsibilities included managing Agile ceremonies and coordinating development activities across various teams. James began a career in software development at Prometric, working as a Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer from 2000 to 2013, overseeing the software development lifecycle and mentoring development teams. James earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from St. Mary's University of Minnesota from 1988 to 1992.
